This multi-functional centre is a comfortable size for congress participants to navigate and boasts state-of-the-art equipment.
The CICG is ideally located in Geneva, just 10 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from the airport. It is easily accessible, being well-served by public transport.
Transport from the airport
Bus: #5: Airport – Gare Cornavin – Bel-Air – Museum – Thônex-Vallard

On arrival at the airport passengers may obtain a free Unireso ticket for 80 minutes for public transport in Zone 10 – Tout Geneve (central Geneva area, including airport and most hotels). The ticket machine which issues these free tickets is located at the baggage reclaim hall. This ticket is valid only with the arriving flight ticket in case of being inspected. This bus comes every 10 minutes. The nearest bus stop (Vermont) is 120 metres from the CICG and is 8 stops from the airport.
Taxi: Fares between the airport and city range from CHF 35 to CHF 45 and depend on traffic density, the time of the day and the number of passengers. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Some of the taxi websites recommended are:
An alternative to using a taxi is using Uber, which is currently operating in Geneva.
Car Rental: Many car rental companies operate at the airport. There is a highway connecting the airport with the city, and there are plenty of parking options.
Transport to/from the city centre
Walk: The city centre is a twenty-minute walk from the CICG along Rue de Montbrillant.
Free Tickets: Anyone staying in a hotel, a youth hostel or a campsite in Geneva receives a “Geneva Transport Card” free of charge. This personal and non-transferable card is given out on arrival at the accommodation. It permits unlimited travel on Geneva’s public transport network for the full duration of the stay.

Parking at the venue:
The Nations car park is 50 metres from the CICG. There are 2,200 spaces in total available. Parking is available from Monday to Friday at a cost of CHF 2 per hour or CHF 46 per day. It is also possible to buy a 4-day ticket for CHF 118. It is CHF 1 per hour overnight and on the weekends. It also costs CHF 46 per day overnight and on the weekends.
